The Pedagogy of Play

The Harvard Graduate School of Education has created a comprehensive resource webpage dedicated to the Pedagogy of Play. It includes course material, activity cards and assignments for educators, parents and kids.

TED Talks

Shahneila Saeed, Director for Digital Schoolhouse, has a strong background in computing education, having worked as the head of computing/ICT at Graveney School for 15 years. She promotes a love of computing in both students and teachers, working to deliver the programme in primary and secondary school settings, as well as colleges and universities. Additionally, Shahneila is a published author, having written Hacking the Curriculum: Creative Computing & the Power of Play co-authored with Ian Livingstone, Computing & Programming Quick Experts Guide, and OCR GCSE Computer Science Teacher Resource. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
